Studio Manager

Alison is pursuing a professional degree in Studio Management from the Vignette School of Communications. Prior to this, she grew up in California’s Wine Country and comes to Portland by way of Monterey, San Francisco and Dublin, Ireland. She holds a BA in Film Production from California State University and an MA in Film Studies from University College Dublin, where she was heavily involved in independent film production and motion graphics.

Alison enjoys the (mostly) female atmosphere at Vignette because she is always outnumbered at home by her husband, son and tomcat.

Since You Asked

Which Kardashian sister is your favorite?

I’m going to go with Khloe. She seems more genuinely likable than any of the others, possibly because she isn’t tiny and picture perfect like her sisters. Maybe not being the best-looking sister has given more depth to her personality. I also hope that she and Lamar make it as a couple, because they seem really happy together. I may have said Brody if this question wasn’t limited to female siblings.

If you had the opportunity to give yourself a nickname (and then everyone had to use it), what would we call you?

Either “Starbuck” or “Nigella.” They’re both my heroes and representative of how I’d like others to see me. Or perhaps “Chotchsk.”
